Overview

This training was designed for teachers from non-technical disciplines (e.g. chemistry, physics, and other subjects) to learn how to integrate artificial intelligence tools and concepts into their own teaching. Delivered as a Trainer of Trainers (ToT) programme, it equipped educators with practical knowledge and methods so they could bring AI into their classrooms and curricula.

Aims

  • Introduce educators to core AI concepts in an accessible way
  • Show how AI can support teaching and learning in non-computing subjects
  • Provide hands-on experience with selected AI tools and applications
  • Enable participants to design and adapt activities that use AI in their disciplines

Audience

Teachers and lecturers from disciplines such as chemistry, physics, and other non-technical fields who wish to use AI to enhance their teaching and student learning.

Outcomes

Participants gained the confidence and skills to use AI appropriately in their subjects and to share what they learned with colleagues, supporting wider adoption of AI in education at their institutions.
